Gifts in support of the FSHN Student Field Trips create opportunities for a value-added support for student field trips for FSHN students.
Food Science Pilot Processing Plant Fund
The Food Science Pilot Processing Plant offers students hands-on experiences operating and maintaining pilot-scale processing equipment. Student learning assistants and interns participate in projects with peers, top researchers, and external partners. The pilot plant is a key component of the Illinois Sustainable Food Project, processing grains and produce grown on campus to serve in University Dining Halls. This fund provides support for student employees and facility and equipment maintenance.
