- 1 week outpatient counseling
- 1 week preparatory research inservice presentation
- Weight management, sports nutrition, irritable bowel syndrome, polycystic ovarian syndrome, vegetarianism
University of Illinois Foodservice
- 2 weeks foodservice management in Bevier Cafe
- Cost analysis, product development, nutrition promotion, marketing, inventory, purchasing
EFNEP/WIC
- 2 weeks
- Development of educational materials, nutrition counseling,outreach and extension education
C-U Dialysis Center
- 1 weeks clinical/outpatient counseling
- Acute/chronic renal failure, renal diet, weight management, diabetes, labs assessment
Swann Special Care Center
- 1 week
- Home for children who are severely and profoundly multiply handicapped
- 112 beds
- Nutrition support, pediatric nutrition assessment, special needs fodservice
Elective Rotation

- Relates to student interests

- Possible elective topics: clinical staff relief, nutrition consulting, public policy, etc.
