6. Join Student Dietetic Association (SDA)

SDA is a student organization mainly for dietetic students. Throughout the semester, there are many opportunities that you can attend meetings to get useful information.

Some examples for activities are: informational sessions given by RDs from various areas, soup kitchen at St. Jude's house, helping the food bank, baking sale, attending Explor ACES etc.

7. Consider an ADA Membership

ADA membership allows you to access many useful information and resources, such as evidence analysis library and Journal of American Dietetic Association. Annual fee for student membership is $49 and must be renewed annually. Brochures are available on Dietetics bulletin board on third floor at Bevier Hall.
